Twilight Vs. True Blood

So I may have already told you, but I’m a True Blood fan. I can totally get down with the idea of vampires hooking up with humans, but only if they’re ACTUAL vampires. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Twilight does NOT have actual vampires or werewolves. Seriously, have you SEEN those movies or read those books? An actual vampire burns in the sun, they don’t sparkle, and they hunt humans, not deer. If vampires were reduced to hunting animals then they would be just as scary as my dad, which isn’t really that frightening. I’ve heard some people say that True Blood is just a remake of Twilight, and that irritates me. Twilight was released in 2005. The Southern Vampire Mysteries (AKA the books that the series is based off) was published in 2001. OH! Stick that in your juice box and suck it Stephanie Meyer!

Now, I’ll admit that I’ve read all the Twilight books and I’ve seen the first two movies. The books because I was younger and more stupid. The movies because my mother is a fan. It’s actually rather comical. When she doesn’t get mad about me not wanting to watch the movies with her.

Anyway, I know I’m probably the last person in the world to make this blog post, but I felt like I needed to, mostly because my mom decided to ramble about Twilight. If she wants me to go see the last Twilight movie with her, I’ll go just so she doesn’t yell at me about not going again, but I’ll wear a shirt saying Team Jessica and Hoyt! They’re the best vampire and human couple in the history of the world. They kick Bella and Edward butt! I guess you have to know the show though. Anyway, that’s my two cents.
